This is the first song we recorded as the Gravediggaz in 92” . It was the intro to our demo and it was actually recorded the day I introduced these guys to each other at my house . This track never made the album but it was one of my favorite productions. This was the track that started it all .. RIP Poetic . Enjoy - Prince Paul
3rd - 12am-12:15am - China, IL - new Brad Neely series (creator of Professor Brothers, Baby Cakes etc). - Cartoon Network. Visit his Youtube Channel for a lot of entertaining animated shorts.
7th - The Ides of March is in theaters. New film by George Clooney. I try to avoid spoilers but it seems to be a political tale starring Clooney and Ryan Gosling. Watch the trailer.

In this article by Ben Sisario for the New York Times he talks with Clyde Stubblefield who made his name as one of James Browns drummers. Clyde talks about his drums being used on countless hiphop songs but not getting anything for it.
I do a feature on the main site called Free Album Friday and I decided to share one on my tumblr too. Stones Throw put out six J Dilla tracks for the Serato Scratch Live called Donut Shop to read about it go here. Recently via their mailing list they gave out MP3’s of this release for free. “Bars & Twists” is my favorite of the batch. You can download the six tracks from Stones Throw at http://stonesthrow.com/jdilla-donutshop.zip
“A mix of hip hop instrumentals, re-edited into triple time in a gratuitous and blasphemous fashion. Snares on the downbeats are removed, waltz time ensues. Tracks butchered are by Jay Dee (RIP), The Roots, De La Soul, D’Angelo, Common, Q Tip, Black Star, Flying Lotus and others.” - DJ Nikey
